RMS-206 Hi-Zack Mark II

After the first Neo Zeon War, the Earth Federation was in need of a more modern mobile suit unit which could keep up with the latest MS being rolled out by Char's Second Neo Zeon movement. The Search was deemed over when Anaheim Electronics offered up the Jegan design, however, the Jegan wasn't the only project in development. The Earth Federations own in house design bearu, the Strategic Naval Research Institute, or SNRI, was hard at work developing a mobile suit to fulfill the requirements laid forth by the EFSF. Using the original specifications of the Hi-zack, and stolen data from Anaheim Electronics the SNRI developed what would be the first in a long line of EFSF mobile suits The RMS-206 Hi-zack Mk II.

The Unit itself boasted incredible performance even managing to best the RGM-89 Jegan in head to head field tests. The armament was a combination of the Jegan, and the RGZ-91 ReGZ another Anaheim project. The Hi-zack Mk II featured a pair of clip fed forearm mounted grenade launchers, along with a scaled down version of the RGZ's beam rifle. This was augmented with a much improved heavy duty version of the Jegan's shield, which gave 20% better protection from all ammunition types during field testing. Production was originally slated for 150 units, but the order by the EFSF was dropped do to the similarities the unit held with Zeonic MS. Eventually the design was purchased by the Republic of Zeon as a means to augment their force of aging Hi-Zack Custom's.


IMPORTANT NOTES: Hey guys just wanted to say some things about this design, it was actually inspired by a fellow frankener Silver_Knight_Gundam he hasn't been on since 2007 though sadly. Anyway, the unique combination of the Perfect Gundam's torso, and Geara Doga's waist came from him, along with Nu shoulder + doga shield.
